Russ Cravillion, owner of Russ' Canvas, Inc., started in the upholstery business by working for his father (Founder of Gordon's Upholstery - Oshkosh, WI), an upholsterer since 1948. He apprenticed in the early 1970's and changed the name to Russ' Upholstery and Canvas in 1982. Over the years the operation grew to include custom built pontoon boats, and is now called Russ' Canvas, Inc. The business now has two locations: the main workshop was added in 1988, located on Hwy 21 in downtown Redgranite, WI and in 2002 a nearby storage building with 16ft. walls suitable for stacking boats.
